  The effective utilization and regeneration of resources are very important components of the sustainable development strategy of the heat treatment industry. At present, people's understanding of the significance of this issue is still far from reaching the level of understanding the environment. At present, many insightful people have fully realized that the solution to this problem cannot rely solely on preaching; it is now time for legislation and the formulation of regulations. The potential for the effective utilization, economical use and reuse after regeneration of resources such as fuel, electricity, water and oil used in heat treatment equipment is huge. The energy source for heat treatment heating equipment must be rationally selected based on local conditions and the time. There is considerable room for improvement in the thermal efficiency of the heating equipment. The waste heat from fuel products must be fully utilized. A large amount of cooling water must be recycled. The grease removed from the surface of the workpiece should be classified and recycled. The expired quenching oil should be collected, refined and reused or used for other purposes.

  The energy sources for the industrial production of heat treatment equipment are mainly coal and oil. The expansion of industrial production scale worldwide has led to an increasingly severe energy crisis, causing a significant increase in energy prices that have exceeded the affordability of various countries. Meanwhile, industrial production inevitably leads to the deterioration of environmental pollution problems. The adverse consequences caused by the discharge of industrial waste are affecting the normal production and life of human beings. To alleviate the above-mentioned problems, all countries are committed to the development and application of new alternative energy materials. Currently, the most widely recognized new alternative energy is undoubtedly bioenergy. Bioenergy has a low cost and its raw materials are readily available, making it an ideal choice for energy-saving industrial furnaces.

  Induction heat treatment equipment has multiple advantages such as fast heating speed, energy conservation, no oxidation or decarburization, no environmental pollution, and high production efficiency. These advantages have been widely recognized by heat treatment workers, and thus it has developed rapidly in the past decade or so. Of course, this actual demand has also greatly promoted the development and technological improvement of domestic induction heat treatment equipment. Take China FAW in Changchun as an example. The company has nearly 100 induction heat treatment devices, among which 50 have been newly added or updated in the past decade, almost all of which are silicon-controlled rectifier medium frequency equipment and IGBT super audio frequency equipment. Now, the weight of induction heat treatment parts for FAW's medium-sized trucks has reached 291.3 kilograms, accounting for 52% of all heat treatment parts. Induction heat treatment has truly taken up half of the heat treatment market.

  At present, the application of computers is the inevitable way to modernize the traditional technology of heat treatment equipment. It encompasses three aspects: first, the application of computers in heat treatment parameters and management; second, the application of computers in control during the production process; and third, the application of computers in the equipment manufacturing process.
